Bhubaneswar : A woman sustained injuries after she fell off her scooter when two unidentified miscreants on a motorcycle snatched her gold chain near Appolo Hospital road here in Odisha on Tuesday.
According to reports, the victim, identified as Subhashree Jena was moving from Acharyaya Vihar in the city this evening when two masked men on a motorcycle followed her snatched her gold chain weighing around 20 gram. The duo sped away with the chain.
Jena fell off the scooter and suffered injuries on her hands and head.
Passersby rescued the victim and rushed her to the hospital. Her condition was stated to be critical, when the last reports came in.
Her family members lodged a complaint with Sahid Nagar Police station in this connection.
