Covid vaccination certificates or ID proofs is not needed anymore to visit religious institutions in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Wednesday relaxed its earlier COVID restriction in view of the current scenario of coronavirus and the coverage of vaccination under its jurisdiction.

The BMC its latest notification said that considering the current scenario and the coverage of vaccination, devotees will no longer be required to produce vaccination certificates or ID proofs for visiting any religious institutions. Further, there will not be any condition on priests/sevayats to produce double vaccination certificates, it added.

However, the religious institution authorities are required to ensure all COVID appropriate behaviour like social distancing, mask-wearing and hand sanitization within their premises. Besides, all other restrictions issued earlier (apart from producing vaccination certificates or ID proofs are not needed to visit religious institutions) will be followed strictly.
