Koraput: Efforts have been taking place to rescue two labourers who got trapped inside a stone quarry near Telengir Irrigation project at Bariput under Bisingpur police limits in the district on last evening.
The victims have been identified as Sanjay Das and Ghanashyam Guru. Both were working as JCB operators.
The incident occurred when the victims were operating the JCB machine and a sudden landslide happened at the stone quarry. The duo got trapped along with the machine.
Getting the on-call information, the fire personnel and ODRAF team reached the spot immediately but couldn’t rescue the victims last night.
