Bhawanipatna: Jaipatna Police today arrested two persons including a minor boy on charges of carrying out thefts from various electronic shops in Kalahandi district.
Police have seized 40 mobile phones, 4 laptops and other electrical equipment from their possession.
Police said that one of the accused identified as Jasabant Sabar (24) was the mastermind behind the theft racket.
“He along with his minor accomplice has been committing theft in the area for past one year. We are further interrogating him to ascertain his involvement in other thefts in the area. We are also trying to identify the receivers of the stolen property,” said a police official.
