Thundershower and lightning warning issued for 6 districts of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: As many as six districts of Odisha are predicted to have rain with lightning and thunderstorms for the next four days.

According to the regional Metrological Center, some places of Bargarh, Nuapadha, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Koraput and Malkangiri districts will likely experience heavy rain with lightning and thunderstorms from today till 29th June.

The regional Meteorological Center has issued a yellow warning for these districts.

The weather in capital city Bhubaneswar and its nearby areas will likely remain cloudy.

Meanwhile, the state has received 98.3 mm of rainfall since June 15. Which is 4 per cent higher than the normal rain of 94.3.

The state has received 4.3 mm of rainfall since June 15. During this time, the average rainfall was about 8 percent higher than normal.
