Temperature touched 40 degree Celsius mark in 4 places of Odisha, See Details

Bhubaneswar: Intense heatwave hits Odisha as four places record maximum temperatures of above 40 degree Celsius.

According to the Bhubaneswar-based Meteorological Centre, the four places where the day temperature touched the 40-degree Celsius mark today are Balangir, Titilagarh, Sambalpur and Boudh.

As per the weatherman, Titlagarh sizzled at 41 degree Celsius while Balangir, Boudh and Sambalpur witnessed temperature of 40.5, 40 and 40 degree Celsius respectively.

Likewise Sonepur recorded 39.4 degree Celsius temperature, Hirakud in Sambalpur recorded 39.5 degree Celsius.

Bhubaneswar recorded 37.8 (max) and 24.6 (min)
Cuttack recorded 37.2 (max) and 25 (min)
