Bhubaneswar: Odisha government effected a minor bureaucratic and police reshuffle today.
According to reports, 2010-batch IAS officer Rashmita Panda has been posted as Collector and District Magistrate of Sundergarh district. Panda was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Rourkela Smart City Ltd, Commissioner of the Rourkela Municipal Corporation (RMC) and Vice-Chairperson of the Rourkela Development Authority (RDA).
Panda will replace Surendra Kumar Meena who has been appointed as Managing Director of Odisha Lift Irrigation Corporation Ltd.
Project Director of OPTELP Mansi Nimbhal, who is looking after the Odisha Lift Irrigation Corporation Ltd will now be relieved of the additional charge.
Likewise, Superintendent of Police, Vigilance, Sudha Singh has been posted as SP of Jagatsinghpur district. Singh will replace Prakash R who will be taking up his new assignment as Vigilance SP.
This will be Singh’s second stint in Jagatsinghpur district. A 2006-batch IPS officer Singh was the SP of the coastal district between 2014 and 2016.
Similarly, Pitambar Samal has been appointed as the sub-collector of Bhadrak district.
