Bhubaneswar: Mumbai produced a disciplined bowling to beat Odisha by comprehensive 120 runs in a Ranji Trophy match at the KIIT stadium here on Saturday.
Chasing a victory target of 413, the home team were bowled out for 292 in their second innings as Dhawal Kulkarni and Akash Parkar took three wickets each, while Abhishek Nayar scalped two wickets.
Resuming on 93 for 4, Odisha began their final day in right direction as captain Govinda Poddar (87) and Shantanu Mishra (49) constructed a 90-run partnership. However, after their breakthrough, the wickets fell at regular interval though Suryakant Pradhan (32), Biplab Samantray (31) and Saurabh Rawat (29) showed some resistance.
Mumbai opener Prithvi Shaw was adjudged Man of the Match award.
