Puri: Srimandira to be closed for devotees for 4 hours tomorrow: Know Details

Puri: The famous Lord Jagannath temple in Puri of Odisha will be closed for devotees for four hours tomorrow (Wednesday) as the trinity will wear the ‘Banakalagi Besha’.

As per reports, the three deities of Srimandira, Lord Balabhadra, Devi Subhadra and Lord Jagannath will be attired with the ‘Banakalagi Besha’ on Wednesday.

For this special events the famous shrine will be closed for devotees from 4 PM to 8 PM. Hence, they will be allowed inside the temple after 8 pm.

Besides, the world famous Rath Yatra of Puri will be held on July 12 this year. The Snana Yatra will take place on June 24. The Bahuda Yatra and Harishayan Ekadashi will be held on July 20, said a list of festivals to be observed in Srimandira, released by the Niti Prashasak.
