Bhubaneswar: The Member of Legislative Assembly for Rayagada of Odisha Makarand Muduli has formally announced his support towards Odisha’s daughter Draupadi Murmu for the upcoming Presidential election. Earlier Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had sought support of all Odisha MLAs for Smt Murmu.
The CM had sought support for Odisha’s daughter Draupadi Murmu by appealing all State MLAs to vote for her.
Today, the CM met Rayagada’s Independent MLA Makarand Muduli and urged him to vote for Smt Murmu. Following his meeting with the CM, Muduli informed to press that he will support Murmu and will cast vote for her. He said Murmu is the pride of Odisha. He thanked PM Modi and Odisha CM Naveen.
It is to be noted that NDA’s presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu will be visiting Odisha on July 8.
