Bhubaneswar: The Gazette Notification for holding by-polls in the Pipili Assembly constituency in Puri district of Odisha has been published on Monday.
The elections were scheduled to be held on April 17 but were postponed due to the death of the Congress candidate Ajit Mangaraj, who succumbed to Covid.
The State Election Commissioner has issued a fresh official notification (Gazette Notification) in this regard today.
According to the notification, the last day for filling nomination is April 26. Scrutiny of nomination will be held on April 27.
And the last date of withdrawal of nomination papers is 29 April.
The polling will be held on May 13.
