Sambalpur: A pick-up van hit an auto at Burmal village on Redhakhol and Kisinda roads in the Sambalpur district on Wednesday afternoon.
Reportedly, 10 passengers were touring in an auto to Mangalpur village on Wednesday afternoon, when a pick-up truck suddenly struck the moving auto from the back.
Owing to which, the car overturned on the street and the pick-up truck also misplaced its stability after hitting the car and overturned and the two vehicles crashed 20 feet off the street.
As a result, all the 10 passengers placed inside the auto were injured, amongst them 3 are in a severe condition. However, all of them were rescued and admitted to Redhakhol Medical College and Hospital, wherein their remedies are going on.
Kisinda police arrived at the scene for further investigation.
