Bargarh: The Vigilance sleuths conducted raids at various places of Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO) of Beherapali in Bargarh district of Odisha this morning on allegation of possession of assets disproportionate to known sources of income.
The PEO has been identified as Anil Kumar Padhi.
The Odisha Vigilance including three teams comprising one DSP, three Inspectors and other staff conducted simultaneous raids at three places in Bargarh district.
Till the last reports came in, one double storeyed building, one plot and cash of Rs 69,000 have been unearthed so far. The raids are underway and further details are awaited.
