Sundargarh: The Kinjirkela police on Friday arrested a youth for allegedly posting morphed and objectionable photos of a young woman on social media platform Facebook.
The accused has been identified as Pradip Tirkey of Khamarimunda village under Kinjirkela block of the district in Odisha.
Pradip had reportedly befriended a woman of Rourkela on Facebook. After a few days, he downloaded her photos from her profile and morphed those into objectionable and obscene ones.
The accused uploaded the photos on October 4, police said.
As the woman noticed the photos on the social networking site, she filed an FIR at Kinjirkela police next day.
Acting on the complaint lodged by the woman, the police arrested the youth from his village and forwarded to the court.
