Odisha To Set Up Four New Family Courts

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government has decided to establish four new family courts, informed Law Minister Pratap Jena today.

As per the decision of the state government, the new family courts will come up at Anugul , Raygada , Boudh and Jagatsinghpur and will function during the current financial year.

Earlier the Odisha government on Tuesday has also decided to set up as many as 45 fast track courts for the speedy disposal of sexual crimes against women and children.

Out of the 45 new fast track courts, 24 will specifically deal with the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) cases.
