Bhubaneswar: Pathani Samanta Planetarium (PSP) in Bhubaneswar, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Planetarium in Burla and Pathani Samanta Museum at Khandapada shall be open for the public from February 8. This was informed by Dr. Subhendu Pattnaik, the Deputy Director of PSP.
Pattnaik said that the Planetariums will reopen following COVID safety protocols and only 50% tickets shall be issued to visitors in every show at Pathani Samanta Planetarium and Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Planetarium.
Wearing of Masks for the entire period of the visit shall be compulsory for the visitors.
It is to be noted here that Planetariums were closed for the visitors owing to the COVID pandemic situation across the State.
The Planetariums shall remain closed on Mondays.
