Odisha Panchayat Polls: Polling to be held in 131 Zilla Parishad zones during phase V

Bhubaneswar: The poll campaign for the seats for which elections will be held in Odisha on February 24 during phase V of the panchayat polls has come to an end.

As per the guidelines today after 7 PM propaganda through sound system in the villages will be restricted. Also, as per the guidelines the leaders and workers of political parties engaged in campaign are required to leave the constituency.

As per reports, during the phase V panchayat polls in Odisha, polling to be held in 131 Zilla Parishad zones in 48 blocks of different districts. On this day, polling will be held in 975 gram panchayats. As many as 41, 88, 382 voters will cast their votes during the phase V polls.

As per reports, for the phase V panchayat polls in Odisha, all preparations have been made by the State Election Commission as well as in the District level. Adequate police arrangement has been made for smooth conduct of the polls.
