Cuttack: The Covid-19 vaccination programme for frontline warriors in Odisha was kickstarted on Saturday with director general of police (DGP) Abhay leading the drive.
The Odisha DGP Abhay took the vaccine shot today at Indoor Stadium in Cuttack.
Apart from DGP, the SPs and Collectors of all the districts will also be administered the Covid-19 vaccine.
As many as 8,937 police personnel from 19 police establishments in Bhubaneswar and 6,867 from 11 police establishments in Cuttack will receive the jab today.
Session sites will be set up at three places, including the CP office.
