Cuttack: The IIC of Kishannagar in Cuttack district of Odisha has been suspended on Tuesday the dereliction of duty.
The Kishannagar police IIC identified as Sasmita Rana has been suspended by the police DG. The IIC has been suspended for negligence of her duties.
Sasmita will be under the control of the IG Central during the suspension.
According to reports, Gunanidhi Bishoi of Ishanibarampur village committed suicide by pouring petrol in front of Kishannagar police station on April 23
Gunanidhi had gone to the police station to resolve a land dispute but was unable to resolve it so he committed suicide by pouring kerosene on his body.
