Odia Students Stuck In Rajasthan Due To Covid-19 Lockdown, Plead With Government To Rescue Them

Bhubaneswar: Odia students stuck in Kota of Rajasthan due to coronavirus lockdown, have requested Odisha government to evacuate them. The students pleaded Odisha government via a video message to rescue them.
The students in Kota are preparing for medical and engineering entrance tests under various Coaching institutes and live in hostels. The coaching institutes have shut down under the government norms for Covid-19. Hence the students remain stuck in their hostels.
The extension of countrywide lockdown from April 14 till May 3, has only increased their problems.  In addition to that, the latest discovery of a covid19 positive patient in the nearby building has panicked the students.
The students expect the Odisha government to look into the matter and take quick steps for their evacuation. The government is yet to give any statement from their side on this incident
