Nor’wester rain to occur in 6 districts in Odisha today

Bhubaneswar: The city based Regional office of India Meteorological Department (MeT) on Tuesday predicted Nor’wester rain (Kala Baisakhi) in six districts of the state.

According to the MeT office, the Nor’wester rain accompanied with hail, rain and wind speed reaching up to 60-70 kmph is likely to occur between 6 PM and 10 PM today in the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur and Kendrapara.

The weatherman further predicted that Nor’wester rain accompanied with hailstorm and strong gusty winds reaching speed of 50 to 60 kmph will continue to lash Odisha till May 4.
