Malkangiri: In a shocking incident, two lovebirds were paraded naked by a group of locals in Odisha’s Malakangiri district. The incident has taken place in Badagoi village under Dandrabeda Police Station limits in the district.
According to reports, a man had an extramarital affair with a woman of the same village. However, some villagers caught them red-handed while they were together in a closed room.
A meeting of the kangaroo court was held by the locals during which they beat the duo black and blue by tying their hands with a bamboo. Besides, they marched them naked across the village.
Police started an investigation into the matter after a video of the incident went viral. In the process of their probe, cops arrested as many as five persons including the wife of the man.
