Karanjia: The Karanjia police along with forest officials and Keonjhar arrested two persons and recovered Leopard nails, teeth and bone from their possession near Jasipur old bus stand under Karanjia forest of Mayurbhanj district.
The forest officials got a tip-off that there was deal going on regarding the leopard skin. The wildlife crime control bureau along with Keonjhar and Karanjia forest officials laid a trap and nabbed the poachers. The forest officials also arrested five other people in this connection and sent them to custody.
During the search, the team seized leopard nails, teeth and bones from them.
