Phulbani: Kandhamal Lok Sabha MP Achyuta Samanta is on a one day visit to the constituency today. After reaching Baliguda he was welcomed by BJD party workers.
Later Dr. Samanta took part in a meeting presided by Baliguda BJD block president Tuna Dash. Different acute issues related to Baliguda block were discussed in the meeting.
Baliguda MLA Chakramani Kanhar, NAC President Mamata Behera and cadres as well as workers of BJD took part in the meeting. The subjects of discussion in the meeting were railway connectivity to Kandhamal, availability of the medical facility, employment problem, and tourism development. It is worthy to mention here that Kandhamal has been reeling under poverty for a long period.

People of Kandhamal were happy to see that MP Achyuta Samanta is taking the big initiative to resolve long run issues of the constituency.
Dr. Samanta also announced for a regular monthly free health camp in every block of Kandhamal district.
