Basudevpur: In a shocking incident, a woman was being thrashed and pushed out from her house by her husband . A video of the incident is being surfaced on social media.
The incident took place at Dakarada village under Buguda police limits in Ganjam district.
In the video, the husband who has been identified as Rabindra Nayak of Dakarada village was seen pushing his wife and thrashing her with a huge stone, as she was trying to enter the house.
The victim was seen pushing away the stone from her husband’s hand. Though, onlookers were present on the spot, but none came to rescue her.
According to police, Rabindra had got married in the year 2012 and when there was difference of opinion between them, she left her in-laws place and started staying at her parents house. In the year 2018, the victim had filed a complaint at the police station in Buguda relating to domestic violence.
After this incident, the victim filed a complaint at Buguda police station yet again. The police have detained Rabindra and started investigating into the matter.
