Bhubaneswar: The ‘Gift Thief’ of the marriage reception has been arrested today by Kahadagiri Police.
A wedding reception party at Crystal Courtyard in Bhubaneswar went awry when an unidentified person stole gifts from the venue on February 29, 2020.
The thief used to go to marriage venues and steal gifts on a regular basis.
The recent loot had occurred in the reception of the son of Rajen Mohanty in Jharpara area of Bhubaneswar.
They had filed a complaint with the Chandrashekharpur Police Station.
The police launched a search based on the CCTV footage.
The thief has been nabbed today.
