Gandhi Jayanti: 3 libraries inaugurated at KIIT Varsity in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Renowned poets and writers from 82 countries jointly inaugurated three libraries at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) Deemed to be University campus here in Odisha on the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on October 2.

KIIT and KISS founder Dr Achyuta Samanta and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.

The new libraries are named as Kamyaa, Kavyaa and Karamchand. While Kamyaa has a collection of Fiction books, Kavyaa has poetic books. Karamchand is dedicated to books on Mahatma Gandhi.

The KIIT University is hosting the 39th World Congress of Poets (WCP) from today. More than 1000 poets and writers from 82 countries including India and 500 poets from Odisha will attend the five-day-long event.
