Former BKJD gen secy Bikash Chandra Giri quits BJD

Bhubaneswar: Adding to the number of party leaders quitting BJD ahead of the upcoming general election in the state, the former general secretary of Biju Krushak Janata Dal (BKJD), Bikash Chandra Giri today resigned from the party.

Giri, who sent his resignation to party supremo Naveen Patanik this morning, alleged growing “neglect” to the primary leaders in the recent time.

The farmer leader also claimed that, an undemocratic atmosphere has started to grip the conch party and it has fallen into the hands of a few influential people who want to run it according to their own will.
