First round merit list of +3 degree in Odisha to be announced today

Bhubaneswar: The first phase merit list of +3 degree in Odisha to be announced today. The merit list will be for the autonomous and self-financing degree Colleges. The list has been scheduled to be announced at 11 am.

The selected students can take admission in the respective Colleges between July 19 and July 24, 2019. The Classes (for +3 degree course) will commence from August 8, 2019.

There are 1047 degree colleges in the State. At least 2 lakh 37 thousand and 215 students have registered their names to get admission in these Colleges.

The first selection round merit list will be published online. It will be available on the e-admission portal of SAMS, Odisha. The Department of Higher Education, Odisha is the counseling authority that manages all the admission related activities through an e-admission portal known as SAMS.

Keeping in view the ‘Auto Slide Up’ issue last year, this time the higher education department has opted for the ANNEXURE – 7. As per this if an aspirant is not willing to take admission through the ‘Auto Slide Up’ method, he/she can visit the SAMS (Student Academic Management System) web portal to login and put his decision either in ‘yes’ or ‘no’. This is mandatory for all the students who want to take admission.

Procedure to check Odisha Degree Plus 3 1st Selection Merit List
  • On the homepage of the website click on ‘+3 degree’ link.
  • Now candidates have to enter their roll numbers and other details asked in the field provided.
  • After that, they have to click on the ‘submit’ button.
  • Round 1 selection merit list will be displayed on the screen.
  • Candidates have to check the details properly.

Candidates have to save and take print of the same for future reference.
