Famous Akhandalamani Temple In Bhadrak Closed As Priest Tests Covid Positive

Bhadrak: The district administration has closed the Baba Akhandalamani Temple in Aradi village of Bhadrak district in Odisha after one priest of the temple has been tested positive for Covid.

The district collector decided to close the temple for three days from today in order to curb the coronavirus infection from spreading further among the other priests and devotees who come for darshan.

As many as 34 fresh Covid cases have been reported from Bhadrak today that takes the total number of active cases to 237.

The sanitization procedure of the temple has been initiated and the contact tracing is underway.
