Covid 19 Twin City: 79 new covid positive cases detected in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack reports 9 cases

Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has reported 79 new covid positive cases as on December 30. On the other hand, Cuttack city (CMC area) has reported 9 positive cases today.

According to reports by BMC, out of the total 79 positive cases detected today, 13 positive cases are quarantine cases while local contact cases are 66. The positive cases linked with earlier positive cases are 13.

The total cases in Bhubaneswar now stand at 1, 23,602 while the total recovered cases are 1, 21,745. The total death cases recorded in the BMC is 1097.  Active cases in the city are 739.

As reported on Thursday by CMC, out of the 9 new cases reported, 3 cases of local contact case were registered. The total case from home quarantine is 4. 2 cases of institutional quarantine cases were recorded today in the city.

Total Covid-19 cases in Cuttack city are 45,442 while the recovered cases are 44,834. The active cases today are 517.

In the last 24 hours, Cuttack city has reported 9 recovered cases while in Bhubaneswar 100 recovered cases were registered.
