Constant hike in petrol diesel price, petrol hikes 35 paisa and diesel 39 paisa

Bhubaneswar: Petrol and diesel prices have witnessed a constant rise for the last few days in capital city Bhubaneswar. On Thursday, the petrol price in Bhubaneswar has been recorded at Rs 109.25 per litre while the diesel price has been recorded at Rs 105.84 per litre. The cost of petrol and the diesel has increased by 35 paisa and 39 paisa respectively in the last 24 hours.

Yesterday, the petrol and diesel costs were recorded at Rs 108.90 per litre and Rs 105.45 per litre respectively.

The fuel prices are increasing at a alarming rate which has caused unbalance in consumers daily budget. The middle class families are are mainly affected by the constant hike in petrol and diesel price.

Some major cities in Odisha has registered petrol price above 110 and the rate of petrol in Malkangiri district has been recorded to be the highest in the state at Rs 114.48 per litre. The other major cities like Chennai, Bangalore, Lucknow, Jaipur and other cities has also recorded the petrol price above Rs 100 including Rs 104.83 in Chennai, Rs 108.45 in Kolkata and Rs 113.80 in Mumbai.

The diesel price in various cities are recorded at Rs 100.72 in Chennai, Rs 99.78 in Kolkata and in Mumbai the rates have crossed above Rs 100 mark at Rs 104.75.

On the other hand, the price of petrol in the national capital is recorded at Rs 107.94 per litre (up by 35 paisa) while the price of diesel is at Rs 96.32 per litre.
