Puri: The Odisha police rescued as many as three oxen and one cow from the pick-up van in Puri district of Odisha today.
According to reports, the pick-up van was illegally transporting the cattle near Pipili.
On the basis of reliable information, the Delanga Police intercepted the pick-up van and rescued the cattle.
The rescued the cattle was released in the Pattanaikia cattle shed.
The Delanga police has seized the vehicle and detained the trader along with the driver in this connection, said sources.
