Bullet-hit elephant spotted roaming in Narasinghpur Forest in Odisha

Cuttack: A bullet hit elephant has reportedly been spotted groaning and struggling in pain and battling for life in the Narasinghpur area in Cuttack district of Odisha. The tusker has been found roaming around the forest of Narasinghpur while it has been witnessed with some devastating bullet wounds.

As per reports, the tusker was spotted wandering in the forest on the backside of the Jaypur Shevasharam in Narasinghpur block area while it has been hit by bullets.

It is to be noted that this area was in news recently in lieu of elephant death in the last few days. Elephant lovers have reacted over the incident.

After being alerted about the wounded elephant MLA Debiprasad Mishra has reportedly informed the Minister of Forest Pradeep Amat for necessary action. He has asked to engage veterinary doctor.
