Khordha: The excise department has seized brown sugar and arrested one drug peddler in this connection on Monday.
The accused has been arrested from near Lokeshwar Temple in Khordha.
As much as 320 grams of brown sugar, 9.2 lakh cash and a bike was seized from him in the raid.
Post Covid lockdown the incidents of brown sugar and other contraband seizes have become more common and rampant especially in and around the twin cities.
