BJB Higher Secondary School Student Tests Positive For COVID-19 Infection

Bhubaneswar: In what can be considered as alarming incident, one of the students of Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar (BJB) Higher Secondary School has tested positive for COVID-19 infection.

The BJB Higher Secondary School in a press release said, “It is for the information of all the student, the at one student of this institution bearing Roll No. IC 19-077 of Commerce stream has been tested positive for COVID-19 infection on Dt: 03-04-2021.”

“All such students, who have come in contact with that student, are hereby instructed to remain away from the institution for a week on furnishing an application to the undersigned. They are further advised to go in for COVID test (RT-PCR) for themselves immediately,” it added.

Similarly, two passengers tested positive at Bhubaneswar Railway Station. Earlier, yesterday three passengers were diagnosed with the deadly virus.

Meanwhile, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) sealed a private coaching centre in Jaydev Vihar area of the State Capital City on charges of violating COVID norms.
