Baratis attack shopkeeper in Cuttack, Police injured while trying to control them
A shopkeeper was attacked and beaten by a group of Baratis in Badambadi area of Cuttack. A police officer was also injured in this incident.
Cuttack: A shopkeeper was attacked and beaten by a group of Baratis on Sunday night in Badambadi area of Cuttack. A police officer has also been injured when he tried to intervene and control the situation, informed ACP Amarendra Panda.
The shopkeeper has sustained injuries in the shuffle with the baratis.
According to reports, the baratis were in an inebriated state when the incident happened. The cause of the attack has not been ascertained yet.
