Bhubaneswar: Balasore MLA Swarup Das has been fined for riding a motorcycle without a helmet on Saturday. The Balasore MLA was seen riding the motorcycle accompanied by School & Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash as a pillion.
According to reports, the Balasore MLA was riding a bike with Mass Education Minister as a pillion when they were caught without helmets near Hemkapada chhak in Balasore.
A challan of Rs 1000 was issued in the name of the owner of the bike. According to challan issued by the police, the incident occurred at 08:35 am in the morning today.
