All Party Meeting To Be Held In Odisha Today Ahead Of Winter Session Of Assembly
Bhubaneswar: Speaker Surya Narayan Patro has called an all-party meeting on November 18 (today), two days ahead of the Winter Session of Odisha Assembly.
The meeting will start at 11:30 am today and will be chaired by Surjya Narayan Patro, the Speaker of the Odisha Assembly.
The newly elected MLAs Bijay Shankar Dash and Swaroop Das of Tirtol and Balasore Sadar respectively will be sworn-in today.
The members at the all-party meeting will have discussions to ensure the smooth functioning of the House during Winter Session of Odisha Assembly.
It is noteworthy that, the Winter session will span across 40 days (that is till December 31). The assembly will continue even on weekends.
