Bhubaneswar: The members of Aaradhya Charitable Trust (ACT), a Bhubaneswar based social welfare organization distributed blankets to the needy, homeless, elderly and physically handicapped people near Rajmahal and Master Canteen area here on Sunday night. Keeping in view the cold weather they initiated the noble cause to help out the needy people, the members intimated.
The Chief of the Trust Sagarika Satapathy and other members of ACT including Manasi Devi, Madhusmita Tripathy, Sangram Patra, Sreema Satapathy, Sovan Dash, Digambar Swain, and Jitendra Dash distributed the blankets to the homeless people.
“Every year during the winter season we distribute blankets to the needy and poor people. The Trust will continue the same in the coming days,” Satapathy added.
