Malkangiri: In a big achievement Police seized huge cache of Ganja in Malkangiri district of Odisha on Saturday. Police of Chitrakonda Thana seized 752 kg of Ganja. Approximate value of the seized Ganja is estimated to be worth Rs 40 lakh.
As per reports, a team of Chitrakonda Police in the leadership of SDPO Anshuman Dwivedi conducted raids and seized the huge cache of Ganja. While four persons were arrested in this connection, the tractor with which the contraband had been transferred, 3 bikes, 2 ATM cards, Rs 7250 cash were seized from their possession.
The contraband of Ganja was being transferred to Andhra Pradesh. The accused persons were forwarded to the Court today.
