Puri: In a shocking incident, seven tourists were swept deep into the sea as they were bathing near Puri beach in the afternoon hours today.
The tourists belong to Jharkhand, say reports. They were bathing near Penthakata area of Puri when this unfortunate incident took place.
All of a sudden, a rogue wave swept all the seven of them, they were drawn deep into sea.
However, the locals, fishermen were quick to act, they heard the screams and dived into the sea and successfully recued six of them while one is still missing.
The search operation for the missing tourist is still underway.
