Cuttack: At least seven persons sustained injuries when a private-run passenger bus collided head-on with a container truck on NH -55 near Khuntuni bazaar in Athagarh area of Odisha’s Cuttack district on Friday morning.
The injured were first rushed to Athagarh hospital. Later, two of them shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital here as their conditions were critical.
According to reports, the incident took place around 5 AM early in the morning. The private bus, named as Manibaba, was travelling from Nuapada to Bhubaneswar, while the truck was heading towards Talcher.
On being informed, Police and 108 Ambulance reached the spot and rescued the injured immediately.
