Balangir: In yet another shameful incident, a 3-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a minor boy in Sadar area of Balangir on Saturday.
The accused is a class-IX student.
As per reports, the girl was playing near her house when the 15-year-old minor boy, took her to a toilet on the pretext of giving her candies and allegedly raped her.
The matter came to light when the girl returned home crying inconsolably. She narrated her ordeal to family members after which a police complaint was filed against the accused.
An investigation into the matter has been initiated.
