Nabrangpur: The Odisha police today seized over 3 quintals of Ganja valuing more than 10 lakhs from a Hywa truck in Papadahandi town of Nabrangpur district.
The contraband was being smuggled from Borigamma in Koraput district to Sambalpur.
Based on information, the Papadahandi police intercepted the Hywa truck near the deer park, but the truck managed to flee. Later the police chased them and stopped them infront of the Papadahandi Police Station.
During the raid, the police seized 3 quintals of Ganja worth more than 10 lakhs. The police have interrogated the truck driver and helper, later the duo were arrested.
