2 dead, 3 critical in road accident in Odisha’s Ganjam

Berhampur: In a tragic incident, two people have lost their lives in a road accident in Ganjam district of Odisha, said reports on Monday.
According to reports, the fatal accident took place in Ganjam District’s Khallikot area’s Bada ghat road. An oil tanker allegedly hit a car and a bike, said reliable reports.
It is worth mentioning that the impact was so severe that two people died in the series of accident on the spot and six people were injured.
Furthermore three of the critically injured people have been shifted to Berhampur MKCG Medical College and Hospital as their condition deteriorated. However it is noteworthy that, how and under what circumstances the accident occured is unclear, said reports.
The locals and the police have rescued the people involved in the accident. The deceased are yet to be identified. The bodies have been seized by the police and sent for postmortem. Detailed reports are awaited in this regard.
