Puri: A huge reptile was rescued from Manitri village under Delang block in the district today. The length of the anaconda was estimated to be nearly 14 feet long.

According to reports, the Anaconda was first witnessed by the villagers near the river. They immediately intimated the Forest Department officials about it. Soon the officials reached the spot and rescued the huge anaconda today morning.
The anaconda was later released into the forest by the Forest Department officials.
