10 Students Of Odisha Bags Third Position In NASA Rover Challenge
Bhubaneswar: A team of 10 school students from Odisha of Navonmesh Prasar Student Astronomy Team (NaPSAT) brought pride to the state as they won third prize in the high school division of NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge 2021.
The young talents were from 42 Mouza in Cuttack district of Odisha who got selected in the Rover challenge amidst the coronavirus pandemic in November 2020.
The Human Exploration Rover Challenge was conducted in a virtual mode in which the Indian team from Odisha won the third prize whereas two teams of USA won the first and second prize respectively.
The Indian team also won the Videography Award in the competition.

The Bhubaneswar based team of NaPSAT was the first Indian school team to be selected for the NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge.
The NaPSAT is an initiative of Navonmesh Prasar Foundation consisting of school students who are involved in building projects such as space systems, rovers, rockets, satellites, and astronomy to participate in various space events.
