After attending the US Open 2023 Men’s Singles quarter-final match Dhoni has been spotted engaging in a round of golf with none other than former US President Donald Trump. Pictures capturing this unique moment surfaced online and caused quite a stir on social media.
It’s reported that Dhoni received a personal invitation from Trump himself to join him for a game of golf. This unexpected pairing of the cricket icon and the former President generated a lot of excitement.
Interestingly, Dhoni, who initially pursued a career in football as a goalkeeper before achieving fame in cricket, decided to try his hand at golf during this outing.

The first glimpse of this extraordinary meeting was shared by Hitesh Sanghvi, an entrepreneur based in Dubai and a close friend of Dhoni. Notably, Sanghvi had also accompanied Dhoni to the US Open quarter-final match between Alcaraz and Zverev.
On his Instagram post, Sanghvi expressed his gratitude to Mr. Trump for hosting them and shared the memorable photograph of Dhoni, Trump, and their fellow golfer, Rajiv Knack, enjoying a day of golf.
“Golf with @mahi7781, @realdonaldtrump and @rajiv.knack…….thankyou mr president for hosting us,” Sanghvi wrote on Instagram as he shared the picture.
