MS Dhoni duped of Rs 15 crore, Case filed against 2 former business partners

MS Dhoni has been duped of Rs 15 crore and has filed a case against two officials of Aarka Sports Management in Ranchi.

India’s star cricketer and former captain of the team, Mahindra Singh Dhoni has filed a criminal case against two officials of Aarka Sports Management in Ranchi over a breached cricket academy deal that happened in 2017. The officials reportedly duped Rs 15 crores from MS Dhoni.

The accused has been identified as Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Vishwash. According to reports, both Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Vishwash had allegedly penned a deal in 2017 for running a cricket academy globally. The Aarka Sports were to pay franchise fee and share revenue as per the agreement terms. However, they were not complied with.

According to reports, reminders and legal notices were also sent, but to no avail, prompting Dhoni to take back the authority letter granted to the company on August 15th, 2021. Following the filing of case, a detailed investigation is underway.

On the cricketing front, MS Dhoni will return to play in the 2024 IPL edition as the captain of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
